An avid diver in his teens, Michael was unfortunately injured during a platform diving competition. In the aftermath, he sought a variety of treatments to alleviate pain and attempt to reobtain his previous capacity. Countless doctors, physical therapists, and chiropractors later, and he found himself with a functional plan to manage his injury.
It wasn’t until adulthood that Michael returned to researching possible rehabilitative methods again, and in doing so, discovered the world of massage therapy. It quickly became clear that his injury would probably have been best served at the time by a massage therapy regime. Incorporating it later in life was still able to work wonders. Though he was unable to obtain this kind of therapy after the injury in the height of his athletic years, Michael knew how vital this help could be to other athletes. With that in mind, Michael began to consider a career in the practice. |
While obtaining his Massage License in 2019 at the Georgia Massage School, Michael eagerly learned everything he could about human anatomy and how the manipulation of musculature can heal. Through his education, he came to realize how massage therapy can benefit everyone - not only to relieve pain, but to improve overall health and wellness.
Following this path, Michael took his passion for massage therapy one step further and obtained his Medical Massage Certificate in 2022. There, he learned the power of medical massage to not only help heal injuries, but to improve conditions to reduce the potential for future injuries.
Now, Michael spends his time answering the call to heal others while following his passion. When he isn’t giving massages, Michael enjoys playing board games with friends, jamming to music at the gym, and traveling.
